The Story of the Crazy Sock

Happy Easter Eve!  Jeff and I are sitting here, patiently waiting for the Easter Bunny to come.  I'm hoping there is some wonderful chocolate in my future!  So while we're waiting, I thought I would tell you a little story about my cool "chick" socks.  Here goes.....

I'm not that outgoing.  If I know you, great...I can talk your ear off.  If I don't, I tend not to say anything.  I guess W gets it honestly.  I'm not a fan of strangers, work functions or any event outside of my immediate comfort zone.  And if it's something that draws attention to me (including airport security), I'm terrified.  Thirty eight years has made me good at hiding it, but not at getting over it.

So I wear crazy socks.  Holiday socks, crazy prints, polka dots, stripes and flowers.  Coffee pots, M&M's, snowflakes and Spongebob.  You name it, I have them all.  Most of the time, they're hidden by my shoes.

A little piece of comfort in uncomfortable situations, sometimes in uncomfortable shoes.
