As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

Thanksgiving Eve
It's Thanksgiving Eve
and through Krogers isles,
every idiot was shopping,
through the "Thanksgiving" piles.
The bakery still had a few pies
within reach.
Unfortunately the only flavor left
for the day contained peach.
The last bread loaves looked beaten,
the egg nog picked over.
If you wanted potatoes,
you were stuck with the red bag from Stouffers.
Every isle was jammed,
carts blocked every turn.
Getting out with our lives
became my only concern.
Some pushing and shoving was
starting to show.
This whole shopping experience
was beginning to blow.
On our way out the door,
with a turkey in tow,
I whispered to Jeff...
next year to Columbus we go!
