To us, it was a no brainer. The old tree was just to big. It was impossible to move the entertainment center, the tv, the stand and the rest of the furniture. A small, skinny tree made sense. Enter the new tree. You would think that Jeff had brought home a Charlie Brown tree from Hunter's reaction. Hate is such a harsh word....but he hated it! So after much negotiation and a 17 year old near tears, he found a way to make the "big" tree fit in the living room.
It's large, it's overbearing, it's way to much in the room. But it's Christmas...and that's always been all about the boys. And since Hunter is concerned that this will be the last time he'll be home to deck the halls with me, his wish is my command.
