As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

Feeling a Little WICKED!
It's said that no one mourns the wicked. I'm just here to tell you that is absolutely not true. Today I was lucky enough to enjoy a return visit to Oz. Nothing warms my soul like an afternoon with Elphaba, Glinda and Fierro. While the story is no longer untold to me (it was my third visit) and mom, I was able to share the afternoon with Bev, Dory and Mark who hadn't heard the real story of the witches. Kermit once said it's not easy being green....I think Elphaba would agree.
Thanks to Dad, I've always had a soft spot for the scarecrow, the tin man and the cowardly lion. Some of my best memories are curling up on the living room floor with my pillow and blanket watching the original with Mom and Dad.
I spent three wonderful hours today, dancing through life. The feeling that comes with that will last for days!
