As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

Tomorrow, Tomorrow
The sun will come out...tomorrow. It will, right?
Since the boys aren't home tonight, I thought I would take the opportunity to complain about the rain again. I'm sure that you thought my spring rantings would end when the warm, dry summer began. So did I. The cool temperatures followed, leaves changed colors and then a repeat of spring began. We have officially endured the wettest year on record (58+ inches, so far) and there are still over 50 days remaining. Only time will tell where we end, but here's to hoping the winter is a little quieter - and that I stop humming the theme to Annie soon!

I seem to recall the weather man saying we were in for another record winter. Didn't everybody try to reassure me last year that you guys just don't have winters that are continually full of snow...and freezing temps??
ReplyDeleteBetter get out on that deck this weekend!!! Or..could maybe opera with me?
