As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

Good night, sleep tight.
It's the day after the banquet and I have yet to look at a single picture from last night. I had this grand plan of posting all of the cute (and very funny!) images for everyone to see, however I've just run out of steam. Even after a short nap, we were barely able to get the car unloaded and dinner made. If I'm truthful, a shower required far more energy than I could muster today. I'm positive the snow and ice didn't help.
But I wanted to take one minute to say thank you to everyone that worked to make last night such a success. If it weren't for Mom, Charlie, Hunter, Will, Marissa, Miranda and Daniel, the night would have been a complete disaster. Not to mention, they made me laugh all day long, which is hard to do on banquet day. I love you all!
So I'm preparing to tuck myself into bed where I'm hoping visions of sugar plums are waiting. And tomorrow. I promise to show the weekends highlights.
