I don't care how you do it.  Just save me.

Those are the lyrics of the soundtrack to the last 8 months of our lives.  Each Monday, Tuesday and every other weekend, Will and Jeff and I would curl up on the couches and rotate through the discs of Smallville seasons (ten in all).  Everyone knows it.  No one interrupts Smallville time.

Clark Kent has become a member of our family.  As has Chloe, Oliver, Lana and Lois.  We've watched Smallville grow and age into Superman.  It's changed the way Jeff and I view Superman.  And for Will, who doesn't remember Christopher Reeves, it's given him the story behind the legend.

Most importantly, it's given us close to a year of family time.  A few less video games and internet surfing, a little more talking and laughing.  That's why he'll always be my hero.
