As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

Nine!
There are nine judges that make up the Supreme Court. Dominoes stop counting at the number nine. Cats have nine lives. There are nine planets in the solar system. There are nine players in a baseball lineup and nine innings in the game. The Fellowship of the Ring has nine members. During the holidays, you'll always find nine ladies dancing. It takes nine months to create human life. A stitch in time saves...you guessed it, nine.
It's our ninth anniversary. I think we managed to get nine minutes together over coffee, talked for nine minutes over lunch, laughed for nine minutes while doing dishes and shared nine bites of Orange Leaf. Ok, I had eight bites and he had one, but we still "shared".
It's graduation weekend, Hunters home and Mom's here for a visit. We're not going to get nine quiet minutes. But we wouldn't have it any other way. The past nine years have been just as chaotic yet just as wonderful!
Happy Anniversary, Jeffrey! I love you bunches. In fact, I'll love you for nine thousand years :)
