As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

The Joys of Summer
There is nothing like a basket of summer veggies. With all of the spring rains, our late June harvest was postponed until this week. We've seen a meager selection of veggies in our CSA basket, but nothing like what we picked up today. On the way back from picking up W from Nony's, we stopped by the farm to see what our pickings consisted of. Sweet corn, cabbages, squash, zucchini, peppers of all kinds, cucumbers, red onions...and I'm sure I've missed something. Nothing like walking out of the barn with a basket of goods that were picked that day. Tomorrow is grilled sweet corn, Sunday will be roasted eggplant and zucchini and I'm guessing I'll make slaw and cucumber salad before the weekends out. Ah, the joys of summer!
