As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

The Dog Days of Summer
112 degrees. That's the temperature that W and I recorded on the way home from the orthodontist today. To say it's hot is an understatement. Welcome to Ohio, the state of extremes. At any given time there is an ice storm, a flood, a drought, a smog warning and heat advisory or a school delay for subzero temps. As they say, if you don't like the weather in Ohio, wait five minutes because it will change. Today is the one day I vote for change.
