Wow, it's been a long day. We should have known that we left Maineville this morning and the rain started, we should have just pulled over and waited it out. But no, we continued on and the weather continued to deteriorate at a rapid pace. In one eight hour trip we saw sun, rain, hail and high winds. What should have been a relaxing start to our vacation turned into a long day that included lots of cuss words :). Thankfully, W had his head phones on for most of the trip. But I stand by one fact....a bad day in Blue Ridge beats the heck out of a good day in Ohio. Tomorrow I will wake up, listening to the lake and know that life is good.
