Yep, it's baseball season! Nothing says spring like a loud, fast moving thunderstorm to cancel the first scrimmage of the season. A rain out gave me the opportunity to snap a quick picture of H before his uniform is grass stained and muddy. It only looks clean for a moment.
W's parent meeting and first practice is tomorrow, weather permitting. And just like every spring day, there's rain in the forecast so we'll see how that plays out.
Every January, when conditioning starts and sign up forms flood our email, I kinda cringe. With both of the boys playing, it can be a little overwhelming. But once the grass starts to turn green and you see the boys walk in with their uniform on and their bag slung over their back, I'm as excited as they are.
