As a photographer, I record memories for a living. I spend countless hours chasing that picture, that smile, that moment...for other families. Sadly, I've found myself forgetting to capture our memories. This blog is my way of reminding myself (and others) that days and years go by quickly. Here's my attempt to not miss a moment of it!

Green
Most of you know Kermit. Some better than others. When the photography group announced the theme of "Green", I knew I had it covered as Kermit is probably one of my most cherished possessions. Kermit doesn't actually belong to me, but I've been taking good care of him for as long as I can remember. Actually, my first memory of Kermit is seeing him laying on Charlie's blue bedspread when we lived on Happy Lane. Over the years, Kermit ended up with me instead of Charlie. He sat on my bed in my first apartment when I moved away from home. He sat on H's bed when he was little and W's after that. I've tried to return him on a couple of occasions, but Charlie has been kind enough to leave Kermit with us.
One day, I'll tearfully hand Kermit over to his rightful owner, Ryan. But until then, I'll continue to cherish him and the memories he holds.
